Probiotics
Probiotics2.png
  • Topical probiotics have demonstrated beneficial effects for the treatment of certain inflammatory skin diseases such as acne, rosacea, psoriasis etc., and also found to have a promising role in wound healing.

  • They work on the bacteria that live on your skin – ensuring that only the good bacteria remain and that any inflammation is reduced. Inflammation causes things like acne, spots, and dry patches.

  • Easily absorbed into the skin leaving it feeling and looking healthy.

  • We use 14 Strains, including these power-houses:

    • Bifidobacterium - helps reduce skin sensitivity. Irritated skin is better able to tolerate products without stinging or burning.

    • Lactobacillus - helps reduce skin inflammation and improve the skin’s barrier function, helps reduce acne and redness.

While THC is the main psychoactive component in cannabis (which may or may not be legal in your state), both CBD and CBG are non-intoxicating, Legal in Every State, and offer Better Advantages for wound recovery.

CBD
CBDOil2.png
  • CBD has been touted for its countless healing properties which makes it a great addition to your aftercare routine. A new tattoo is a fresh wound and therefore inflammation is common. CBD is one way you can counteract redness, itchiness and swelling all at once!

  • The swelling and redness that come with a fresh tattoo are caused by the body’s natural immune response in order to fight infection and to defend areas that are under attack. CBD has been shown to regulate this response through its impacts on the endocannabinoid system. CBD affects the CB2 cannabinoid receptor and inflammation-causing proteins called cytokines in such a way that prevents and decreases inflammation in the human body.

  • Acts on cannabinoid receptors in the skin, alleviating skin conditions caused by inflammation and helps to speed the healing of your new tattoo. It helps to reduce the swelling caused by inflammation, and will help you ensure that your tattoo heals quickly, properly, and looks perfect for years to come.

CBGOil2.png
  • CBG is known for its anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-relieving) properties, making it a popular choice for treating conditions like arthritis and chronic pain. It's also been shown to be effective in reducing inflammation.

  • A 2017 study found that “CBG may hold great promise as an anti-oxidant agent” and “CBG has more potent analgesic (pain-relieving), anti-erythema (anti-inflammatory rash) and lipoxygenase (inflammation) blocking activity than THC.”

  • The ‘entourage effect’ is a process that explains how cannabinoids work synergistically within the body to help promote homeostasis. Hence, if we mix CBG with Cannabidiol (CBD), they will be more effective together than either would be alone. The majority of current products available on the market focus on the benefits of the CBD extract exclusively, however, there are many possible advantages to combining CBD products with the CBG extract.

  • It Prevents Infection and promotes healing. This rich oil contains anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. All the properties you need to treat a healing tattoo.

  • One of the most moisturizing kinds of oils available. It is an incredibly thick substance that easily penetrates the surface of the skin, sinking deep into your cells. Because it penetrates the skin so easily, it will also stay inside the skin for a longer period of time, allowing your skin to stay moisturized for longer.

  • Not only that, but castor oil will draw moisture from the surrounding air. It is moisturizing in and of itself, but it grabs extra moisture from the atmosphere around you and brings it into your skin. These properties are what makes castor oil one of the best products for moisturizing. And, of course, a big part of making sure that your new tattoo stays healthy is ensuring that it stays properly hydrated.

  • It’s Non-Comedogenic. If you are trying to get a wound to heal, the last thing you want is for dirt, bacteria, or oil to get into that wound. Because castor oil is non-comedogenic, you will not need to worry about your skin becoming clogged with the oil. Quite the opposite, actually.

  • It Makes A Great Cleanser. It will sink down into your pores, stick onto dirt and bacteria, and clear it away. This is why so many people use castor oil as a cleanser.

  • Improves circulation. You will have increased circulation on any part of your skin that you apply the oil to. Blood is full of vitamins and nutrients that are important to the growth and healing of skin cells. When you have more blood flow to your tattoo area, you also have more vitamins and nutrients going to the area which in turn promotes better and quicker healing.

  • The properties of vitamin E can help you as your tattoo begins to heal, because its antioxidant benefits help stop the damage of cells. This can be extremely beneficial for ensuring your tattoo heals without any scarring issues. In addition, this will help your healing wound combat any “scavengers” called free radicals that try to complicate the healing process.

  • Vitamin E improves your blood’s circulation which helps the regeneration process as well as removing any excess ink that has not properly held in your dermis. This helps improve the overall condition of your wound, and will lead to a healthier and brighter healing.

  • Plus, when added onto an older tattoo, it makes the colors look vibrant and significantly deeper.

  • Vitamin E forms a protective barrier on the skin that is known to help combat UV damage. Considering UV rays are the number one enemy of tattoos, this is particularly helpful for both new and old ink protection.

  • Works as an anti-inflammatory, can reduce skin inflammation and the breakdown of collagen.
